Lincoln Public School District #38

Welcome to the Home of the Lincoln Lynx!

We're Pawsitively the Best!

Welcome to the 2012-2013 School year!

School starts Wednesday, August 22

Congratulations to the students, staff, parents and Lincoln community!

Lincoln K-12 School District Lincoln Elementary, Lincoln 7-8, and Lincoln High School made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for the 2011-2012 school-year.  Adequate Yearly Progress is part of the federal education standards of the "No Child Left Behind" Act passed in 2001.

AYP is determined by using Montana's "Small Schools Accountability Process, which is based on several significant factors.  Some factors include the Criterion-Referenced Test (CRT) scores and improvement, the Effectiveness report, attendance rates and/or graduation rates.

All Montana public schools and districts fall under the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. Schools that do not meet the federal requirements are required to develop goals and action plans to address identified areas of concern and may have additional sanctions imposed on them.

The Office of Public Instruction has released the AYP status of each Montana school.  Summarized results can be accessed on the Office of Public Instructions web site.
